My diet sucks right now. I don't need to lose weight, but my poor diet is showing in my energy and my health and I'm not sure how to fix it. I work a full-time job and I'm so busy that I don't have the energy to cook every night. I cook 1-2 nights a week but the rest of the nights I find myself eating frozen food because it's so much quicker. I usually eat a healthy-ish breakfast at noon and then snack until dinner. I also want to have more healthy snacks on hand, but fruit gets eaten so quickly in my house (I live with roommates that don't cook... ) and I can't seem to find any other healthy foods that are snackable I'm guessing meal prep is probably the answer. I've tried it once and it entailed me spending over 4 hours on Sunday making roast chicken and vegetables that I got sick of long before the week was over, so I never tried it again. I am very willing to give it another shot, but does anyone have any go-to plans or recipes that makes it more doable? How do adults do it?

(2)Protein change theory postulated that for the higher protein group, there must be a sufficient change from baseline g/kg/day protein intake to during study g/kg/day protein intake to see muscle and strength benefits (3) Results: 1. 83-2. 36 g/kg The bro-science recommends 1g/lb which equals 2. 2g/kg which falls into the range of both the IAAO and the new theory fairly well. [Side Note:I am not quite sure what to make of study (4) which seems fairly well thought out. All I can say is that we have newer data with improved techniques. When common knowledge and science meld together I take that as evidence enough] Beyond the physiology, protein may help you psychologically (5). w/ Regards to Timing "It is now becoming evident that athletes should focus on ingesting effective meal-based protein quantities as opposed to merely following daily recommendations. The findings from the current study reinforce the meal-based approach as post-exercise muscle protein synthesis rates were effectively sustained with the optimal, 'intermediate' feeding pattern.

Nowadays, the consensus regarding exercise and MS seems to be that it's beneficial for your overall health and condition, and that regular exercise reduces tiredness. Our national MS-society went as far as enthusiastically captioning their magazine with "exercising and MS, the more the better! ". So, as part of my new years resolutions, I've started to work out a bit. My ultimate goal would be to actual take up running. I've joined a 0-3km beginner's group, with a very slow build-up schedule, so I was not worried. I normally walk fine, albeit with a cane because my balance tends to fluctuate. Even without regular exercise, I have a pretty fast pace, around 6, 5 km/h (that's abt. 4 miles/hour or 14. 85 min/mile). My plan was to first start walking longer distances, and then slowly pick up running (in short intervals of 30 secs or 1 minute tops). Around Christmas, I started walking 10 mins a day, building up towards 20-25 mins a day last week. During my walks, everything went fine. Perfect, even.

News of a new weight loss drug called Adipotide surfaced early last year, but there haven't been many updates since July regarding the status of the drug's development. As reports suggest, Adipotide is still in trial phase being tested in clinical studies on humans. If approved, it would join Qsymia, Belviq and several others in the 'miracle' weight loss prescription drug line-up. Adipotide was created by Dr. Wadih Arap and Renata Pasqualini as a form of cancer treatment as it was designed to starve cancer cells of blood supply prohibit them from growing. However, the effects of Adipotide have actually shown it starves fat cells of blood, which forces them to die and be reabsorbed into the body. Though successful initial trials have been completed on rats and monkeys, some negative side effects have been noted, including dehydration and small kidney lesions that left untreated could lead to kidney failure. Diets in Review resident pharmacist Dr. Sarah G Khan reports that Adipotide will be marketed as an injection into the subcutaneous layer of the skin, administered directly into the fat.

If you're completely new to weight training, use this challenge to start! Plenty of beginners are afraid/self-conscious to hit the gym -- trust me, nobody's making fun of you behind your back, and chances are they're even silently proud of you for making a change. And women, you have nothing to worry about because you won't accidentally turn into Arnold when you touch a dumbbell over 10-lbs. The GSLP program is a great program you can do 3x/week, although I would personally suggest doing deadlifts for 3 sets instead of one. The Reddit PPL is also a decent one in my opinion. Be sure to Youtube for video tutorials on how to perform the lifts safely and correctly. Feel free to ask any questions if you need advice on this. 8. ) Consistency is key. As with your diet, the best workout is the one that you can stick to. No program, routine, DVD, or personal trainer will get you any results if you're not working towards your fitness goals day in and day out. You don't have to get super crazy and pledge to workout 7 days a week and only eat 1000 calories a day for the next 12 weeks (in fact, I believe making drastic changes too soon lead to failure more often than not) -- but you will have to make a lifestyle change and start practicing these behaviors consistently.

Best Rolls Ever This is Lynn here. I just have to tell everyone that I have the BEST sister ever! Why, might you ask? Because she and her husband got me my very own Kitchenaid Mixer for Christmas. I have been falling in love with my mixer and using it non-stop. Seriously, I've considered knitting it a sweater because I adore it so much. With my new mixer I have tried out various roll recipes and I just have to share the one that I think is the absolute BEST. In the 1970s, punks hit the scene like a car crash. New rules were made and new styles were born. It's been 50 years since the dawn of the punk, but people are still pushing the envelope in many ways with their haircuts. Whether it's hardcore punk or a more toned-down punk style, we've got a lot of great haircuts with a punk attitude. @havanaclub_barbers 1 / 8 While White Claw was taking over the US drink market, the claw look is now popular in punk settings. With it's five thick strands, this claw certainly knows how to turn heads. @havanaclub_barbers 2 / 8 This is a hairspray heavy spiked look with a nice fade that ventures close to the mohawk but doesn't quite get there. @reyesthebarber 3 / 8 Punk rock and hip-hop used to go hand in hand. This look, with the low fade, beard, and spikes could easily be seen at a hip-hop show or a punk rock concert. @reyesthebarber 4 / 8 After the first wave of punk, a gentler side of punk formed called pop-punk. This haircut, with the side, pushed spikes and the small devil horns in the front, could definitely be a pop-punk poster look.
